There's a timer, posts can be edited for up to 24 hours.  Why do you need to edit a post from a few weeks ago?  Tech document?

Sorry, I am used to posting and editing on the370Z.com I guess. Posts are always editable there.

 

I was trying to edit an incorrect date/timeline in my build thread rather than quote it later in the thread. Historical accuracy shall we say...

I didn't think 24 hours was enough.  Extending it to 30 days.  Indefinite edits aren't wise because historical data may be at risk.  Give your build thread another try.
