March 30, 20159 yr comment_466805 I think that slogan was very relevant prior to 1970 here in the US. That was a time when “price†was actually related to “qualityâ€. Also a time when Brand Name was a reliable indication of “qualityâ€. Today you can’t count on price nor Brand Name to give an indication of the quality of the product. So we need a new slogan.. “Just because it is expensive - it doesn’t mean it is any good†“Poor quality goods are everywhere.
