I run the Carter on my race car and it works great for a ~200 hp 2.8L with SU carbs.  How do you know you have a fuel pressure problem?  I'm not talking about the pressure, I'm asking about the symptoms.

    Not fuel problem! I guess it points out that the vacuum advance is not working properly. The back and forth hesitation is still present!!!
