I been going though the archives of this subject and for me at least it's a dizzying array options and requirements.

I have a longnose R200 open diff 3.90:1 with ujoint half shafts that works perfectly but would like limited slip capabilities.

Is there a clutch type or viscus type closed gear set that I can install in my existing housing?

Thanks,

Chris

Eh... John, On the website they say: For fairladyZ 240Z: NS081-HA (R180 type 115mm ring gear ID)

I think you have worked with it?  So there are more ways to come to a good limited slip diff?

FWIW..

Mart

That's for the R180.  The OP above asked about a unit for the R200.  And yes, you can buy new from Quiaffe in the UK, an OBX from China, or find a used Nismo, Nissan Competition, or Powerbrute unit somehwere.

John, thanks for that part #, looks like just the thing.

But while were on the topic, I would be interested in your opinion on the OBX unit with the rbryant washer and bolt upgrade kit.

I've read a couple of things that imply that with the better washers it is a decent unit at 1/4 the price.

Thanks,

Chris
