My overall impression is that the car is not in bad shape. 

 

 

Yes. From  the photos you provided, it looks much better than what I had in my mind.

Sorry I don't have any FI parts but there seems to be plenty offered here.

The pick and pull that I go to currently has only 3 280ZX's. No 280Z's.

Spider webs can cause things to stick.  I paid an HVAC guy to come to my house and clean the contact switch on my A/C unit.  $60 bucks for 10 minutes.
