72 views and no comment? Anyway I did a like, seems like a hell of a gap between gears there.

It's a stock 4-speed from a 1972 240Z. We can use any manual transmission that came in a US market 240Z. The RPM drop from 2nd to 3rd is tough. The rest are ok.

Is that the slow 280 that comes flying by on the right. They looked like they were out for a Sunday drive. Looked good and sounds great!

VERY cool, I hate those liberal obama loving jackasses at Google so will not sign up for an account. ( use bing for search).  You said stock 4 speed tranny, what about the clutch. That video put me in the drivers seat, and got my pulse racing.  

 

Looks like a great time, I also own a front engine Porsche ( 87 S-4 ) and love to see the rear engine souped up VW engines in the 911's get their asses handed to them...   

We fly by a black 280Z and it's on the right. He was having fuel pump issues and coasting in to the pits. He's really fast this season and was probably leading before that happened.

 

The clutch was an old Centerforce. I just replaced it with a Centerforce II. Glad you like the video!
