Posted March 19, 200321 yr comment_30543 i went to a local shop & they found HKS makes an exhaust for the 280ZX, but it doesn't specify whether it's for the coupe or 2+2. i read thru the Victoria-British catalog & they mention an "adaptor pipe." is this the difference between the 2 cars? i know any exhaust shop can fab the right size pipe, just wanna know if i gotta tell the shop to do this, or will HKS add it?. March 19, 200321 yr comment_30545 but why would you spend the money on that exhaust, imo its just to much for what they give you.you could purchase your own mandrel bends and pipe(stainless steel) from places like jc whitney and get a good dynomax or ultraflo ss muffler and still be ahead in the cost department of what an HKS cat back system would cost you.i guess its all in what you want to spend and what you want to have on your car. me personally i would pass.
