September 15, 20159 yr Author comment_477599 280zzzzzz I would like the dimensions if you have them. I have one and it is 3" x 1 3/4" x 5/8" thick. I know two are this size and two are either thicker or thinner but not sure. I assume this helps keep tank level. Thanks. September 15, 20159 yr comment_477603 I've never tried it myself, how about using some hockey pucks? Cut and trim to size? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52366-gas-tank-rubber-pads/?&page=2#findComment-477603 Share on other sites

September 16, 20159 yr comment_477606 Those pads are 1/4-3/8" thick, you could try and auto or marine upholsterer.Yep, That's what mine measure out to be. IMO I really don't think 1/8" here or there is going to make a big difference for level, especially if you drive around corners.  You can get the width and length of each piece just by looking for the indents on top of the tank. September 16, 20159 yr Author comment_477609 Agree. I am going to try to find something between 1/2" and 5/8" and see what happens. Not even sure if my sending unit is working perfectly anyway. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52366-gas-tank-rubber-pads/?&page=2#findComment-477609 Share on other sites
September 16, 20159 yr comment_477613  On my early 74 the pads on the tall section are 1/2"-9/16". The pads on the lower section are 1/4"-5/16" thick. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52366-gas-tank-rubber-pads/?&page=2#findComment-477613 Share on other sites
September 20, 20159 yr Author comment_477777 Ended up getting a stair pad that is about the thickness of the large pads with ribs and the thickness of the small pads without the ribs. I also got two vinyl molding pieces I am going to try and make fuel strap protectors/separators. Thanks.
