October 7, 20159 yr Author comment_478636 Thanks for those detailed pictures. Honestly I was so thrilled that all those original books and some service records were in there, along with a new box of fuses (possible sign of electrical issues) and an old hair brush-no need for that with my bald head-I have not even bothered to investigate the lock mechanism. It did look pretty chewed up inside the cylinder, but there are much more important things to examine and evaluate on this Z which is in bad need of extensive work. I am definitely saving these valuable posts and pictures to help when I get to putting this Z back together. Thanks, John-Lugoff, SC Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52512-glove-box-78-280z-trying-to-get-it-open/?&page=3#findComment-478636 Share on other sites
