Will extractors for a datsun 240K fit onto a 260Z's L26?

Just met this guy tonight that has some brand new extractors for a 240K that are just sittin there taking up space, so he said he'll sell em for $150. Sounds like a bargain to me...if they'll fit.?

Depends what model 240K I imagine, but if this is anything to go from, they wont fit!! I was looking at a set of extractors and this is what the owner had to say about them:

"I really cannot supply much of the info you require as I bought the extractors at a swap day. However they do have 89 skyline written on them and they do line up with L24 head ports as I have an L24 in one of my Z cars.Due to their shape they will not fit on a Z car due to contact with the chassis rail and Z extractors are made differently to fit.(I now have a set of Z extractors so I can verify this!!)"

Take from that what you will... but don't blame me if they DO fit!

btw welcome to *my* club datto-zed ;)

Well if it isn't Alfadog! :)

Hmmm doesn't sound too good bout the extractors. I had a feeling they may not fit due to fouling on various underbody bits.

Oh well... I'll have to check these things out in person and see if they'll fit.

There shoud be no problem attatching to the head tho, right?

Btw... bloody PF has been down all day. Looks like I'll have to hang out in "your" club now. LOL

Ah, glad it's not just me who can't see those forums then.

This club is *very* good if you have a Z. The blokes here can help you with just about any problem you might run into!!!

Extractors should fit the head perfectly...

I run a H&M header for 240k on my Zed, the secondaries had to be realigned at the front end of the gearbox to meet the tunnel access correctly I also had to make a joint at the end of the header to facilitate gearbox change, but that has been the only problem. The primmary pipes are square port to match the p90, thats what sold me.

Assess your need sometimes minor changes when the system is new may save you money in the end.
