June 10, 20168 yr comment_496628 I've recently read that for the ported vacuum off the front carb to this dizzy's vacuum should be 10 hgs at 2500 rpms to get full advance to the dizzy. FWIW I'M still working on total advance with my high dollar timing light. Fun working with my inexperience LOL Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52581-my-winter-project-l28-swap-into-my-240z/?&page=13#findComment-496628 Share on other sites

I would think that would affect LM-2 readings. You also need a working distributer vac advance. Not just hooked up, I mean working. Actually, oddly I seem to be able to run a lot of timing in it and no pinging at all. I can see the advance working with the timing light as I rev the engine, so the advance is working. I started a thread in Carb Central and have been working though it...I think I just need larger nozzles at this point. Gonna call Z therapy today.
