For holes that small, maybe consider using something like Sugru, a rubberized glue that will hold a shape and stick to most anything.  Some people have used it for similar repairs: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-repair-holes-in-your-dashboard-with-sugru-/  Color matching is likely to be the most difficult part.

The internet is a big place, but fortunately there is help in finding your way around when you feel lost.  Previously, I gave you the steps required to search the message archive on this site.  Allow me to expand on that and open the entire internet for you.  To find information about Sugru, or any future topic you wish to explore, follow the steps below.  Print them out for future reference

 

 

1. Open a Google search window on your computer (www.google.com).

2. This is where it gets tricky....type a word or words related to what you're looking for into the "Search" box. Since you're looking for information about Sugru, type "Sugru" in the "Search" box and hit the Enter/Return key.  Stay with me on this.

3. Scroll down through the list of topic related web sites that appears until you find the one that contains the Official Sugru company web site.  Click on it.  Explore the wealth of information.  You'll also see sites like Amazon that sell the product.

4.  You are now empowered.  No more need to ask for basic search help.

As I mentioned to you in another topic,  paraphrasing something I read in the Bible, "Do an Internet search for a man and you remove his lack of knowledge but once. Teach a man to search and and you keep him from bugging you with search questions forever."

My bad. When you asked where to buy it and how to get the textured finish and color I took that to mean you didn't know where to buy it or how to get the textured finish and color. Sorry that I jumped to a conclusion and for offering Google as a source for answers to both those questions.

I was looking for feedback on how close it is to the original (can you tell its a replacement or is it just like the NOS part?) more than that people like them. As in a product review, which I can't find in this forums search.

In other words, is replacing the whole thing better than trying to fix the original. It's only $100ish, which to me feels like a deal if it is indistinguishable from the original and doesn't break when you breathe on it.
