Hey guys my name's seth. I have a 77 280z. I have it up and running and got a good deal on some turbo stuff. As for the ecu,s I got one seems to be an na and one seems to be a dinan tuned 300zx unopened ecu. I also picked up the turbo dizzy. Got the manifold and turbo for 75$ !!! Here's some pics let me kno if you think either ecu will work for the turbo

I know a turbo needs a turbo ECU from reading hybridz.org.

 

If there's a substitute I'd think it would be something aftermarket, like Megasquirt?

It's not that plug-n-play. If you want to go turbo you are gonna have to do some more research. You either need everything off a 280zx turbo motor. Sensors, ignition, harness, injectors,ecu, everything or you need to build a standalone system, Megasquirt, Haltech or other. The fuel maps in the 300zx ECU won't work properly for your setup...
