A bias valve and little road testing can dial that in.... I'm partial to the look of the brakes on my 370Z. I guess and would like to duplicate that look again. Nice and clean!

That's what I'm after to.  Seeing the rotor and caliper through my Rewinds is nice looking up front, I want that in the back.

 

 

 

 

 

I saw this race car's set up so I'm sure the stock drums are adequate but a little outdated looking.

 

Don't get me wrong. I'm sure the rear drums are more than adequate for my needs... It's my wants that are not being met!

Same reason the billet mustache bar will be replacing the stock steel unit. Gotta have a little flash!

The whole kit is very reasonably priced to me. 

 

I just hope it comes with instructions! 

Don't give up your parking brake, you'll miss it.

I have Wildwood kit front and back and I stall was easy enough and never have had an issue.

In hindsight I might have completely redone rear drums with new parts and kept my parking brake for a non- race car cruiser. You can source some clean backing plates and powder coat them, buy new drums and wheel cylinders and hardware with performance shoes , combine with some Wildwood front brakes and have a killer set up.

Myself and another local Z owner ( Dan ) whom I've just recently met have both ordered parts from RA and Z-Depot to convert to rear discs. We'll post some pictures when we get going on this.

 

I'll be sourcing the AN brake fittings and SS hoses locally. Goodridge makes good quality DOT approved universal SS hoses and I'll likely use those.

 

I'll provide part numbers as I go along. I don't like using a Banjo bolt fitting on the caliper side, unless there is an integral locking device to prevent the Banjo fitting from rotating and coming loose. I've seen a couple of failures on Race cars from that happening, and the results were not pretty. I much prefer straight thread-in fittings to the caliper for SS hoses.

Dollar for dollar, it seems like the TTT rear kit with ebrake is a pretty good deal at $900 all included.
