Leather seats recommodations

Hei Guys,

To get some more comfort when driving i am considering to get leather seats in my car, so far i have found these two alternatives:

http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic08f03/40-2700

https://www.interior-innovations.com/index.php/welcome/product_detail/41 (same as Ridiescom on Ebay? )

Does any of you have an experience with one or both of the above ?

Should i go for new molded foam inserts as well ?

Best Regards

Terje

When installing my new vinyl seat covers (made by Distinctive Industries, bought from Banzai Motorsports), I discovered that the cover for the 'cushion' (bottom) part of the seat is sized specifically for the aftermarket replacement foam.  That aftermarket replacement foam bottom piece is molded so that it's about 2 cm taller ('thicker') than the original Nissan foam.  This was only an issue for the bottom part of the seat.  However, you can't buy the top and bottom foam pieces separately.  I was able to get proper fit with my old Nissan foam (which, on my car, was in remarkably good shape) by putting a 1-inch-thick slab of upholstery-shop foam under each molded bottom piece.  Nevertheless, for best fit, my experience suggests that new seat covers should be accompanied by new seat foam.  I expect that the leather seat covers will also be sized for the aftermarket replacement foam.  Maybe somebody who's bought the MSA or Innovative Industries leather covers can comment.

Interior Innovations seems to very accommodating in regards to customizing a seat whichever way you want for a reasonable price. I will be going with them eventually. Full leather with perforated inserts and colour matched stitching.

I'm planning on order new leather seat covers for my 77 280Z 2+2 front and rear from them. I'm ordering custom door skins too. I told them they should advertise on here, too.

Yep, Wheee! I sent their site ( info@interior-innovations.com ) an email asking whether they could produce the door skins for my 2+2, as it is an Arizona car with cloth seats and door panels. I wanted the new door skins to match the seats. They said they could and would make them and quoted $400 for the pair and  $25 for map pockets. I am ordering them in the next couple of weeks. Just send them an email,
