November 4, 20159 yr comment_480498 Looking to keep a classic look or more modern? Can refinish an old 240z wheel or go with momo, Nardi etc with the appropriate hub adapter. I personally like the Nardi classic and will be getting one with red stiching to match the boot. There is no best 😊 PMG Edited November 4, 20159 yr by Pmg Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52770-best-ideas-for-steering-wheel-replacement-1975-z/#findComment-480498 Share on other sites

November 6, 20159 yr comment_480655 There's a repro of the Datsun performance wheel floating around on the internet that looks nice. Basically a stock wheel but smaller in diameter with a fatter, leather grip./M Edited November 11, 20159 yr by Matthew Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52770-best-ideas-for-steering-wheel-replacement-1975-z/#findComment-480655 Share on other sites

November 10, 20159 yr comment_480840 Have people found that the smaller diameter wheel paired with wider rims (8") makes the steering too heavy? I would expect the reduced leverage plus the larger contact patch to create a noticeable difference.Something to consider in your choice, maybe./M Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52770-best-ideas-for-steering-wheel-replacement-1975-z/#findComment-480840 Share on other sites
November 10, 20159 yr comment_480844 I have 16x8 wheels with 225-50 and I wouldn't get smaller steering than stock. Would make low speed turns like parallel parking more of a task.
