Looking to keep a classic look or more modern? Can refinish an old 240z wheel or go with momo, Nardi etc with the appropriate hub adapter. I personally like the Nardi classic and will be getting one with red stiching to match the boot. There is no best 😊

There's a repro of the Datsun performance wheel floating around on the internet that looks nice. Basically a stock wheel but smaller in diameter with a fatter, leather grip.

I think the 240z imitation wood steering wheel is best.

I agree, that's why I'm selling the momo

Have people found that the smaller diameter wheel paired with wider rims (8") makes the steering too heavy? I would expect the reduced leverage plus the larger contact patch to create a noticeable difference.

Something to consider in your choice, maybe.

I have 16x8 wheels with 225-50 and I wouldn't get smaller steering than stock. Would make low speed turns like parallel parking more of a task.

This the one I was talking about earlier: http://jdm-car-parts.com/products/datsun-competition-steering-wheel-240z-260z-280z-510

There is a picture of it on top of the stock wheel for comparison.
