Posted March 23, 200322 yr comment_31058 My gas tank is shot but I've had a hard time finding a decent tank for a replacement that isn't insanely priced. I was looking at Summit and they've got fuel cells for around $150, which with the cost of the s.u., lines, would be about the same as a used tank. (My orginal lines are shot also) I'm not concerned about the size of the cell because I won't be driving the car too much. Is it worth the trouble of installing a fuel cell or should I just pay up for a decent tank? March 23, 200322 yr comment_31068 SHOTIME - Check in Hemmings Motor News - There are a lot of scrap yardslocated in south west U.S. I have mail ordered many parts from some of them & have never had a bad/ugly/wornout/or broken part come from them. The prices were what i thought to be cheep. I would think that you should be able to get a tank for about the same or less than the fuel cell you mentioned. My thought is buy a tank. - Jeff Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5278-gas-tank-or-fuel-cell/#findComment-31068 Share on other sites
