Guys i need the distributor fixing plate for my 280zx distributor! i just bought a re-manufacture one and it did not come with the piece.

I think that he needs a different piece.  He actually went and found the exact Nissan name for the part.  Unusual.  Apparently the remans don't come with it.  Pretty sure that you posted a picture of the varieties of this part in the past.

 

 

Okay, he's talking about the steel eighth inch plate. Not the aluminium mount. Maybe zcarsorce

Com or zcardepot.com will have one. I beleive the points distributor with the small cap was different than the newer ones. I wonder if a Maxima at a junk yard could be a source? There's a few more of them than Zs.
