December 3, 20159 yr Author comment_482248 Yeah, I noticed that. From the ebay ad, looks to me as if the interior panels were all covered with fabric. Both of those can be fixed if someone rally wanted to. The biggest issue with originality is obviously the engine swap to a 2.8L.Low VIN aside, it's still a probably better than average looking 240. If it were a Series II, I don't think most would mind the upgrades that were done. It's unfortunate an early Z like this didn't stay original, but it is what it is... in my opinion, a great looking Z (at least the exterior, from the pictures). December 3, 20159 yr comment_482250 Steering wheel has vented spokes, not solid. Appropriate for a low VIN '70? Nice looking G nose, however, in spite of the modification inaccuracies. I've always liked the look.Dennis Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52916-70-g-nose-conversion-for-sale/#findComment-482250 Share on other sites
December 3, 20159 yr comment_482262 Shifter knob & probably a capped dash too. Nice Z outside, Inside could definitely use some refreshing. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/52916-70-g-nose-conversion-for-sale/#findComment-482262 Share on other sites
December 3, 20159 yr comment_482268 I would have wiped the grass off the gas tank before taking that picture. He must have backed into a ditch or something? December 3, 20159 yr comment_482271 I would have wiped the grass off the gas tank before taking that picture. He must have backed into a ditch or something? Or inflated four flat tires......
