Mine stopped working on my garage door. Fortunately it stopped in the open position.

I bought a Schlage with no fancy junk to replace it.

After doing some net research the Weisers are insecure and are prone to failing like mine did.

My recommendation is to avoid Weiser.

Locks really on keep honest people honest. Door locks really don't make residential doors secure. Commercial is different...

Yeah metal door frames with cement filling behind them, that's pretty secure.  But then you have the windows to worry about.
