December 19, 20159 yr comment_483184 Hi Chickenman,The pic of the tweeters in the eyeballs is almost like mine except mine are black. I scraped the chrome off and glued them on with black silicon seal/adhesive. That worked great until my wife decided that the a/c blowing on her from the eyball was too much and grabbed and shoved and the tweeter fell off. Oh well, I'll just glue them back on maybe with JB Weld this time. They work great, though. The problem with our cars is that even with a lot of sound insulation, by the time you are going 70+ the wind noise is pretty bad, but below that threshold it's great to have the tunes. I like to have tunes of the era...I call it my own little time machine. Steve Miller "Your Saving Grace", best road tune ever............ December 20, 20159 yr comment_483215 So, So many. Back in the late 70s it was Huey Lewis "Sports" album on the Pioneer Super Tuner for me. Volume cranked up, a favorite road in my Z. Totally in the moment. Loving the drive and doing some of my best singing ever. Sigh. December 26, 20159 yr comment_483527 Curious...what if you were to have a 280, but have removed the ecu from the drivers kick. Would these fit?? December 27, 20159 yr comment_483567 ^ I was thinking the same thing. If there is enough slack in the harness, you may be able to unscrew the fuse-box and tuck it up and out of the way. I'll have to have a closer look at my 280Z. December 27, 20159 yr comment_483574 Unfortunately, I doubt we could make it work. I don't remember having any slack in the fuse box wiring and certainly not in the ECU wiring.
