Just wondering if any Houston members (or others) have ever used this company and what were your thoughts on the quality of their product/services......  Thanks!

I have not used Atlas, but have used Speed Sport Chrome also in Houston.

Not sure what you are needing plated, but if it's chrome I highly recommend Speed Sport Chrome.  They did the bumpers on late model 260Z and did a fantastic job.  Lifetime guarantee as well.

You can find more about them here:

Mike.

Thanks Mike, I've heard of Speed Sport Chrome before and even have the link to their site bookmarked. The reason I'm asking about Atlas is because a good friend got a quote from them on chroming a motorcycle gas tank, but not knowing anything about them, he's trying to find some info on their rep before he sends it to them.

I told him about SPC, but I'm pretty sure they're not in his price range....

i'm sure this reply is past the date of necessity, but i've had a good experience with atlas.  had a bicycle frame plated nearly 10 years ago, it was considerably thicker plating than the chrome applied to other pieces of the bike that were made overseas.  today there's noticeable rust on the foreign chrome, none on the atlas plated parts.  pricing was decent(for the time) and their turnaround was less than 3 weeks door to door at a time when i was quoted 16 weeks locally(austin).
