Redwing Posted December 29, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) If you happen to have a black, - 1976 - 280Z - fuse box cover, I am in need of one. Thanks, Redwing Edited December 29, 2015 by Redwing omitted color
Mark Maras Posted December 29, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2015 Anyone know what years are the same as a 76?
EuroDat Posted December 29, 2015 Share #3 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) You have two types of cover. They changed in August 76. I think its only the fuse layout diagram that is diferent. The shape is the same. If you see "Radio" in the top right, its the later version. If the radio is lower left than you have the pre Aug-76. The later version is most common. SteveJ Posted December 29, 2015 Share #4 Posted December 29, 2015 Nissan part number 25420-N4202, and it appears to be 1976 only. However, it's not listed as NLA, yet, so a dealership may be able to get one. It would be around $11 + shipping from http://www.courtesyparts.com, http://www.nissanparts.cc, or http://www.nissanpartsdeal.com
EuroDat Posted December 29, 2015 Share #5 Posted December 29, 2015 According to carpartsmanual the first one in the diagram I posted is the 25420-N4200 & 25420-N4201 for 12-74 to 08-75. The 25420-N4202 is 09-75 to 07-76. The 25420-N4700 is from 08-76. They swithed around the middle of 1976 so it could be both. They both will fit, but the radio could be in the wrong place. I can't remember what month Jai's 280Z is.
Redwing Posted December 30, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted December 30, 2015 Euro Dat, My car is a 10/75 build. I have a photo of the fuse box in my photos, and it is identical to the middle example you shared. So your information is right on. Thank you for sharing this information with me, I certainly appreciate it. Jai
Redwing Posted December 30, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted December 30, 2015 Thank you Steve for also giving the correct part number for the fuse box cover. It seemed confusing with the 2 parts numbers. The clincher is the build date. I appreciate you assisting me once again. Jai
