mismatched knobs, it comes with the later version of the choke knob and the early version of hand throttle knob.

It also looks like the plastic friction pads are cracked and broken. 

I bought my early knob set from you Steve. (I thought they looked off in the bay ad)

It will be interesting to see if it sells, and for how much.

I think it will sell but for less. I have one new assembly and a refurbished assembly. I was talking with a friend early this week about these and we figured a new one would sell for around $ 1000-1100,  refurbished around $600 and used in good condition with knobs $350.

Later version choke knob?  I thought that was the correct one for 70-71

It looks like there are 2 different knobs for this year. A wider one and a skinnier one.

 

 

If these things go for those crazy prices, I need to start hoarding them. There is another used series 1 cable without

the throttle side for 50 bucks. Big disparity in price.
