Attention All Rust Free Area States

aka arizona, texas, florida eh well maybe, california would you please be on the lookout for me for a running and fairly clean 240Z, year not important.

just want a clean body mainly, some rust is eh ok but no floor pan or frame rail rust.

please guys help!!

over 3k memebers and no one has seen a decent Z for sale that isnt a rust bucket.

We just do not want to see are clean Zs that we sent back east (east of the Rockies) and turn into rust buckets

Did you look on ebay.....Do a search for datsun 240z, 260z, or 280z.....

Try....www.datsunzclub.com or www.zcar.com. They both have a classified section. The ones that are too high in price are the ones that don't really need much work & are about 99% rust free...What part of the country are you in?

i know all the Z sites and a few others that have datsuns in the classifieds, hell i even go to the club websites searching for cars for sale.

by the same token though not all Z cars for sale are put up in ads on Z sites, most are found by owners just driving around.

Maybe too far but: '71 in Bend Oregon, central part of the state. Third paint job, very little rust, a few bubbles under the paint, (according to owner), 138K total, 58K on rebuild. New interior, new susp, 5 speed, "too much to mention". $4,600. I haven't seen the car. Will supply phone number if you want. An 800 number.

but i want certain things if im going for that kind of price, like the motor set up i want which would be either a turbo conversion and or a triple weber dell orto mikuni with a preferably F54 block and N42 head or similar.

did he make mention of the motor.
