Posted January 27, 20169 yr comment_485469 This is just a test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDkr2qm6VbQ I added this using the "source" button on the upper left of my message. Looks like anytime you use source, it will not embed the player. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/53202-test/ Share on other sites

January 27, 20169 yr Author comment_485500 Looks like this is embedding the player for me if I use the standard reply box. Can some of you guys try it out and let me know how you copied the link? Make sure that "Source" is not selected in the upper left of your reply window. January 27, 20169 yr Author comment_485502 Here I am going to try posting a link using the link provided in the "share" feature from Youtube. Note the URL is totally different than when I simply copy the URL. https://youtu.be/lDkr2qm6VbQ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/53202-test/#findComment-485502 Share on other sites
January 27, 20169 yr Author comment_485505 This is also embedding the player, for me at least. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/53202-test/#findComment-485505 Share on other sites
January 27, 20169 yr comment_485507 Copied the url directly from the url box at the top on youtube. How to make a short video too long - Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/53202-test/#findComment-485507 Share on other sites
January 27, 20169 yr comment_485508 Cut and paste from the url box seems easiest. Right click, "copy", go to Reply window, "paste" (I use CTRL V to paste). Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/53202-test/#findComment-485508 Share on other sites

January 27, 20169 yr Author comment_485510 Ok, looks like it's working. But, @bartsscooterservice seems to be doing something that is causing only links to show up. I'll have to understand his setup and process to post these links. January 27, 20169 yr comment_485511 I had created a Suggestion, or a Bug report asking for the ability to post just the url, with a click required to go there. Not really a fan of the embed window taking up half of the page. Don't like it. Look at my two posts, there's a huge picture, and the words are easy to miss. It's too "in your face". That's what I think of it to really.. just post a link, you will go to the video anyhow.. and it isn't taking up half the page..
