Speedometer bulb wiring ?

Would anyone happen to know the location these bulbs go on the speedo ? One bulb has a red with blue stripe wire and another bulb has a red with blue stripe wire. One bulb has two wires, one is red and the other is red with a white stripe. The other bulb also has two wires, one is yellow with green stripe and one is green with yellow stripe. Thank you.

That would be a 72 then, I think.  And your colors don't seem to match the 1972 diagram.  I would check the colors from the plug, not at the speedometer.  They change color sometimes at the connectors.

Really though, easiest is to plug the harness in and fiddle with the switches.  Not only do you figure out what's what but you can verify that the bulbs actually work and have good contact.

Blue bulbs might not give much illumination.  The clear ones are pretty dim as-is.

My best guess. I dont own a 240Z btw, but I was playing with the wiring diagram.

The 2 bulbs with the single red wire are the illumination bulbs.

The bulb with the red and the red/black stripe wire is for the main beam light

The bulb with the yellow and green wires is for the brake warning switch
