Posted March 6, 20169 yr comment_487893 This car looks like it has 123,000 miles. I hope the bidders aren't thinking thats the true mileage. Rockers look like they're caked with bondo and rusting underneath. Solid california car otherwise. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-Z-Series-DATSUN-RARE-240-Z-SURVIVOR-CALIFORNIA-CAR-ORIGINAL-/381560716417?forcerrptr=true&hash=item58d6ca7c81:g:gc0AAOSwZ8ZW2Mxz&item=381560716417 YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1972 DATSUN 240Z WITH ONLY 23K ORIGINAL MILES NUMBERS MATCHING ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION 2ND OWNER Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/53414-72-240z-ebay-auction/ Share on other sites

I should have snapped a picture of that previous price. Looked like a buying frenzy and the high bidder came to his senses after reading and looking at the pictures a second time. It's still a very nice car with just a little metalwork needed on the dog legs and bottoms of fenders.
