Ah, that bittersweet moment when you discover that it was something you did/didn't  do and NOT something new.  I just experienced it yesterday afternoon when mine shut down out of nowhere when I had to be somewhere. Turned out to be a loose connector to the AFM which I had replaced last week.

And....

After doing car repairs, the first rule of troubleshooting a new problem is to inspect the stuff you f***** with.

Pay attention to the bend radius.

1/2" PEX elbow is what I used in a similar tight spot. FWIW

Fricken spell check thinks it's smarter than I am

I ran a loop in mine.  Let it project then loop it around to the destination.  EFI system but same problem.  If you put enough loops in it your gas mileage will probably increase.

That's a good analogy, they run so fast their rear ends drop closer to the ground. I think it's probably "scolded dog" but I've always heard scalded too. Anyway, congratulations from the Peanut Gallery.

Fortunately for me, the problem was fixed by correcting my first suspicion. However, Cliff (@siteunseen) & Bruce (@Captain Obvious) gave me the input I needed in order to have a path to keep looking in case my first suspect wasn't the root cause.

Thanks, guys.

Need to work on my tagging of people.

I put "runs like a scolded dog" in google.com and it says, "Did you mean scalded dog".  :o

" This saying originated back when people used to cook, can, and preserve food outside, and occasionally a hungry dog that was sniffing around for scraps would get some boiling water spilled on it accidentally, or as I’m ashamed to admit, on purpose, by some impatient or mean human who wanted the animal out from underfoot."

Cool. Glad it was that obvious. Simple problems are a welcome change to the complex and intermittent.

Cliff, Thanks for the genealogy for "scalded dog".
