G'day Californian Zee owners From Down Under.

My Brother is up from Australia and is in California untill the 11th of April. I occured to me that he might be able to get a few bits of trim for my 240z that are nearly impossible to find in Australia.

I'm after:

1 x Front hood emblem

2 x side datsun emblems

1 x choke lever handle

and the 2 plactic cover things that go in the door latch lever thing (one for each door).

So if you have an old parts car sitting around the garage or some old bits in a box you dont need, send me an email and i'll see if i can get my brother to pick them up for me. Preferrably cheap or free. Only have 2 weeks to arrange it before he leaves.

If looking for New, contact Andy Russell or Too Intense Restoration, both of them usually have them in stock for immediate shipment. Prices are reasonable considering the scarcity of the items.

Used? Now, we're looking at most of the members here, as no doubt, the majority have either obtained new and removed their old, or have gone boneyard shopping to better what they have.

Let us know, and where your brother is (city) so that we can maybe coordinate some of this stuff to him.

click "Browse" and type "DATSUN" and make sure you have "Search titles and descriptions" checked.

You'll get a lot of crap, but you won't miss the good stuff (well, most of it)

Yeah saw them on ebay Alfa, thought they were pretty pricey.

New ones are nice, but when you convert it back to AUD$ it's very costly.

But used ones in any reasonable condition are very difficult to find. Most have broken mounting posts, and/or faded, peeling chrome and paint.

Your brother is just about 20 miles from where I live.

I'll ask around to see if any friends have what you're looking for.

I dont mind broken posts and faded paint. as long as the chrome is passable. dont have to be perfect. If i wanted perfect, i'd save up and buy new ones.
