March 22, 20168 yr comment_489948 Been there, done that. Remove the staples holding the old strips, use pop rivets to attach the new strips. Push the fibers aside when inserting the rivets to get maximum penetration. Put a drop of black paint on the rivet to conceal it in the fibers. ( not a nice job but someone has to do it.. make the holes with a small drill to put the staples in.) To Djwarner.. i want to say also, rename this topic to: A source for repro door CARDS. when you say doorskin i think of the outside skin, the metal skin you could buy to renew your outside doormetal.. so people can later on find this topic better.
