Posted March 27, 200322 yr comment_31657 Can a bad AFM prevent your Z from starting/flooding? My plugs aren't soaking wet but smell like gas. These are my 2nd set of plugs. B4 I had the Bosch and now I have the NGK's. I haven't done anything to the AFM yet but wanted to have it looked at before I take it to the Z tech in my area.....The connection is on at the bottom but I haven't been able to examine it THOROUGHLY! I would also look at the fuel rail for a leak at the back of the injector, where the short hose fits or may be a loose fuel clamp. after that I guess set your ignition up again.hope this helpsSteve:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5344-possible-bad-afm/#findComment-31772 Share on other sites
