ok well I am just about to get a 240 to replace my 280ZX that was just taken off the road. And i just wanted to know have many of you had any luck turning there 240 into a mustang killer? my goal with my next Z is to be able to kick the arse of all those kids driving around in there 5L's. I really like the idea of blowing away a 5L then telling him he was just beat by a 2.4L. What kind of success can i expect from doing normal mods. Like headers, exhaust, ignition, k&n filters, and a nice head rebuild. That's about all that is in my budget for the next year or so. PS. I will be sure to post a pic of my jem once i pick it out. don't think with that budget you'll be able to make a 5.0 killer any time soon. save up a little, and for as little as 2k you can stuff a small block chevy under the hood with a 5 speed. now think about a 2500lb car with 300+hp. there, that should do it.
