strut inserts dimensions

Hi i am actully a 1970 BMW 2002 owner and not a Nisan owner. (ducking from thrown rocks). But i have a question for you. I was told that the strut inserts on the 2002 might be the same diameter as they are on a Z car. So if you can give me the strut insert dimensions i would really apreciate it.

BTW, this is for a shortend strut coilovers.
