Posted March 30, 20169 yr comment_491095 Hi, Does anyone know where i could get a set of pistons (12010-P7917) and rings (12038-P7910)? Everything i have read says these Nissan parts have been discontinued and I am just looking for a good replacement. Thank you for any assistance. March 31, 20169 yr comment_491181 ITM Pistons are fantastic.....I don't like their rings. I use Total Seal Rings with the ITM pistons.....just toss their rings. These are 1 mm ITM's in an L28 block. Nissan may still carry the .040 over (1 mm) rings. If so, you can use them with the ITM's. March 31, 20169 yr comment_491185 We've been using the ITM pistons in our race cars and they've held up well. Chuck Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/54928-l28-1-mm-flat-top-pistons/#findComment-491185 Share on other sites

March 31, 20169 yr comment_491227 I used Itm pistons for my L28 build but bought rings from Hastings. Itm pistons are good but their rings arent. Thats the info i got from people using Itm. April 1, 20169 yr Author comment_491258 Awesome info guys thank you very much. I think I've narrowed what is needed down to two part numbers: ITM Pistons - RY6134-040 (piston kit for a 87mm bore) Total Seal Rings - T2416 (replacement rings for 87mm bore) Thanks again.
