March 31, 20169 yr comment_491141 I like it! However, the lower left front fender could still use a little more elbow grease! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/54945-hagerty-does-it-again/#findComment-491141 Share on other sites

March 31, 20169 yr comment_491223 Nice. I use the pressure washer first, before using soap and a sponge, because if you just rinse it and use the sponge, the dirt/sand is still on there, and you are making scratches... just saying Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/54945-hagerty-does-it-again/#findComment-491223 Share on other sites

Sponges will hold onto grit. That's why they use a microfiber mitt and rinse it thoroughly before they go back into the soap bucket for each area of the car. Not faulting your method but a pressure washer can drive water into areas that might have a tough time drying out and subsequently inviting the dreaded "R" word. I ment a moderate pressure washer, like the ones @ the carwash, not a 120 bar pressure washer ( That's what they do also before your car goes into an automatic car wash... ) I agree the microfiber mits are better offcourse...
