Murph Posted April 10, 2003 Share #17 Posted April 10, 2003 How does this suck! We both need each others zeds. I have an almost perfect black interior, but my chassis is stuffed. You have a great body/chassis and nothing else. Only if you were willing to part with yours cheap. And I'm sure your thinking the same.

Murph Posted April 10, 2003 Share #23 Posted April 10, 2003 Thanks Zpeed. Legend! I have a new question now. How easily can you transfer the interior and driveline from a 260 into a 240? There are quite a few differences between the cars which I could see being a possible problem.
Zpeed Posted April 10, 2003 Share #24 Posted April 10, 2003 Problems between 240z and 260z interoir, is marginal, the main problem is the dash and center console, but a 260z one bolts up to it anyway, so its not a real problem.. but could come up with some issues, drivetrain wise...all the bolts are the same for the engine, transmission, excepts for the differantial if you have a R200 or a R180, but if you take ur rear suspension out of the 260z as a whole, it will just bolt straight up the the 240z as a whole as well so its no real problem... there is a bit of work needed for everything, more time consuming getting everything right, and then reliseing ur not happy with ur own stuff so you want new stuff... as you are a uni student, id suggest, doing it over the summer holidays, as you would have jack all time to do it any other time, unless u don't really do work at uni, like ur doing a arts course,, hehe just jk.. as its a shell, a bit of differant wiring would be needed, but i wouldn't stress about that much at all... i've seen it done before, so i wouldn't stress, just think of what u'll get in the end..
