grannyknot Posted April 9, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 9, 2016 Does anyone make a rear mounted rear sway bar for our Z's anymore? All I can find is MSA's combo but I'm pretty sure that is a front mounted rear bar. Once you weld in the BadDog rail extensions it's hard to find a place to mount the forward mounted bar without spacers of some kind. Thanks, Chris

Arizona z car has a photo on their site of a rear mounted swaybar with their set up but no mention of the make of the sway bar.

gnosez Posted April 11, 2016 Share #9 Posted April 11, 2016 Even without the Bad Dog rear rails you need a spacer for the ST rear sway bar. What you can't use is the stock (OEM) sway bar that mounts on the body behind the seats.

I do like the way the rear mounted sway bar is up and out of the way. Installing driveshaft bolts with the sway bar in the way is a real pain. gnosez Posted April 13, 2016 Share #11 Posted April 13, 2016 Didn't think it was, only stating the cold hard truth regarding those very nice ST rear sway bars - they need an off-set. I have them on my street Z with nearly a 1/2 inch spacer to make them line up right,
