I 2nd Travel'n Man's comments on David Premo.  I called David looking for help with a heat soak issue I've been fighting for years and not only did he immediately nail the fix he also suggested a jet change that really helped the top end power. This guy clearly knows how to tune Mikuni's.

I have had triples for some time and the inlet suction noise is addictive.

You know what's funny is that I have never enjoyed that induction sound because my airbox muffles that. All I hear is engine and exhaust . 

And I have contacted several folks about larger chokes than 32 for 40's , and they don't exist for the most part. I would need to modify/enlarge mine. The good thing is that if I go to large , there are used 32's out there to pop back in

Is there enough meat to open up the ones you have, or is the wall too thin?

I have a lathe, but don't have CNC so curves are done semi-freehand. I can do simple stuff. PM me if you're entertaining modifying what you have.
