after reading up and indecision, i went ahead and bought some toyota calipers. the question i have now is this:

for those who have done this, did you use the datsun factory caliper mounting bolts. they appear to be too short by about the thickness of the lock washer.

if you replaced the bolts, what did you use? i stopped at the local toyota dealer, and they wanted $26 per bolt. who knows if they were even the right ones.

As long as the bolt threads in by 1.5 times the diameter of the bolt or protrudes through the hole its threaded in, you should be fine. They are 12mm x 1.25 bolts if you go shopping. Buy the 10.9 grade ones.

just hate ordering and waiting.

bolts are coming. thank you. another question. what keeps the pads from rattling around on the pins? do they get glued to the pistons? or?
