Posted May 13, 20168 yr comment_494948 Anyone using Toyota 4x4 calipers and race pads? If so what pads are you using and where did you get them? Thanks. Terry Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/55460-toyota-4x4-race-pads/ Share on other sites
May 14, 20168 yr comment_495034 All I can say is that suppliers like Carbotech http://www.ctbrakes.com/ will make up pads for you if they don't have stock. I've used their XP10 compound and found it very good if you like true race performance from your brakes. November 18, 20168 yr comment_506631 In my part of the world the brake problem for S30's involves the historic race class where they are restricted to original brakes. Both pads and rotors have to be replaced after every meeting due to extreme use. There are lots of different brand brake pads, the thing is which one has been proven to best handle this situation? And rotors too, they have to be plain faced. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/55460-toyota-4x4-race-pads/#findComment-506631 Share on other sites

Same material that is usd on 747 commercial airliner brake pads. The material is easy on rotors, and has no binders that require setting or bedding in. They are ready to go right out of the box. And they work just as good on the first stop, all the way to the last millimeter of material.
