Hi everyone:

I'm verifying that the scuff plate is installed in this manner: over the vinyl seam cover so it buts up against the door weather strip.

 Yup.. Overlaps the pinch weld welting half of the weatherstrip. 

The line up with the existing three mounting holes locations should confirm
