Another place to look is the spare tire well. An ice pick is useful in determining the depth of rust pockets. I wouldn't use it on the upper painted surfaces, at least if the owner is near.

seeing a garage is a good thing, maybe it was in there. Makes a world of difference.

Hopefully your right but seeing the pile of tumbleweed behind the rear and the stains around it on the driveway I think it's been outside maybe with a cover. It's nice and shiny!
