chaztg Posted June 19, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 19, 2016 Seems like kind of a douchebag move to list an auction in the way he did it--absolutely no effort, no pics, no description. A total black hole. Am I wrong? http://www.ebay.com/itm/parting-out-a-71-datsun-240-Z-/112031873758?fits=Make%3ADatsun&hash=item1a159ebade:g:hpgAAOSw~OVWyIuU&vxp=mtr
grannyknot Posted June 19, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 19, 2016 Well, it's not really an auction, more of a notification that he is selling parts. No one is going to buy a parts car for $49,000, maybe he gets more exposure by listing it as a whole car rather than individual parts? But yeah, he gets zero for effort. Mark Maras Posted June 19, 2016 Share #3 Posted June 19, 2016 I've been watching that one. He has the front torn down. "See other items", lists the steering column, cross member and the rad. support. If anyone is interested, I live near Happy Valley. I haven't figured out how to contact him.
Matthew Abate Posted June 22, 2016 Share #4 Posted June 22, 2016 Everyone who looks at that ad makes his other ads more likely to be suggested, so his other items will get more exposure, increasing the likelihood of each part selling. Pretty smart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mark Maras Posted June 22, 2016 Share #5 Posted June 22, 2016 Hadn't thought of it from that perspective. Makes sense.
