It takes extremly good bodywork to make a black paint job look good. Pictures are forgiving. When you see it in person you will know what is/was under the paint by looking for "waves" in the paint/body when you stand in front or behind it. If you do not see any or very small ones - it was/is a solid car AND/OR it was restored professionaly.

My opinion.

Well, I'm kinda bummed out now. You see, when the owner sent me the pictures he also sent some to another potential buyer. While I was E-mailing him to set up a time to come and see the car, the other buyer was E-mailing that he was overnighting a deposit and that he wanted the car.

At least for this minute, it looks like I have missed out on this car. Hopefully, either the deposit will not get sent (doubtful) or when the guy goes to look at it, he decides not to buy it (very doubtful). All I know is that he is from the Northeast. It's not you WannaZ, is it??

I had pretty much come to terms that this was going to be the car that I wanted too. Price seemed to match the condition. Guess it is just a waiting game now. I must perservere.

I'm still looking. I wouldn't buy it out from under you anyway. I'm waiting for my perfect Z. I'll know it when I see it. I owned a white 71 back in the mid 70's, would like another one except in very good condition. Back then it was a everyday driver. Now I'm looking for a summer cruiser. I expect to see some around here as soon as it gets warm. (been a long winter up here,)

I hear the New England Z club meets on Friday nights in Andover??? but I'm not sure. I haven't joined the club yet. Any members here?

The Z Car Club of New England meets on the last Saturday of each month at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua, New Hampshire. Meeting time is 1:00pm. We currently have approximately 75 members from all over New England. Here is our web page:

http://www.zccne.addr.com

Check it out! You will also see that we are hosting the Z Car Club of America Convention during the period 6-10 October 2003. The host hotel for this convention will be the Crowne Plaza. Directions are available on our web site. We have many activities: Car Shows, Auto Cross, Ralley's, Track Days and many other. The Convention this fall, at the peak of the folage season, promises to be one of the best. Members and their cars from all over the world attend. Mr. K will be here along with many top officials of the Nissan (Japan) Company. And, we have many surprises planned for this convention. Our web site also displays the club members cars and many other details. We look forward to welcoming new members!!

I was wondering if you have heard if this car was sold or not? I notice it's still listed.

Good luck.

Ken, any of your fellow Z members have any plans to sell a car?

(maybe you could post a note in the forum???)

I would love a white 70-72 in excellent condition.Black interior and a 4 speed I'm kind of nervous of buying online and having one shipped without seeing it in person. My second choice would be a 75-78 in the same condition.

You can go right ahead and post your request, as to exactly what you want, on our forum. You do not have to be a member. As you can see several have posted, with cars to sell, or other items that they have available.

I would suggest that you come to our next meeting on the 26th of April at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Nashua, NH at 1:00 pm. This way you would get to meet some of the members and see their cars. Maybe someone will have one for sale. We welcome new members or visitors. Directions to the Crowne Royal are on our web site.

Last I heard form him, the deposit check was in hand. The buyer had promised to buy the car. I guess I just sit back and see if he does now. I am betting the car is gone, but the owner will contact me if the sale falls through.
