Since my chassis is rooted and will cost me an arm and leg to fix, I'm considering the possibility of buying a good shell and transfering all my gear to it. Finding a top condition shell at a good price is a sorta tall order, but it's worth a try.

I'd be lookin at paying max of around $2k.

Gotta be straight and have very little or no rust.

Good paint would be nice but I'm not too worried if it doesn't.

Oh yes, and has to be a 260Z 2-seater.

If you have one or know of one (even if it they want more than 2k) please forward me the details.

Don't know of any 260 shells but I have a bare '71 240 shell for $1800. Seems to be straight, only rust I know of, in the floors, has been cut out and new steel welded in. It is bare and undercoated, no attachments such as doors, etc., located in Brisbane.

You could try Alan Stean of the Z Car Workshop, Brisbane phone 3808 2755, but I don't think he has any.

Sorta over what I can afford since I'd still need to paint it. But we'll see what happens, I may yet get some money because of the damage to my car. I'll certainly be keeping it in mind.
