Bambikiller240 Posted April 12, 2003 Share #13 Posted April 12, 2003 Lachlan:Just noticed the "For Sale" on your 240Z. Isn't that new? I 'm wondering why you are selling it? Are you giving up on Z's? Didn't you recently spend a bit of money on making it nicer than ever?Just curiouscarl

Alfadog Posted April 12, 2003 Share #15 Posted April 12, 2003 Carl, No chance am I giving up on Z's!! Just that I cannot financially afford 2 cars right now. Insurance, rego... not to mention repair costs. I would sell the 240K, but there are certain reasons why I just cant sell it. I have chosen to let my Z go to someone who can afford to keep him in tip-top shape, e.g. getting rid of the cancer (lucky for cars, there IS a cure!)... I certainly won't leave these forums dont be mistaken! You guys will keep my desire for Z alive while I go through these tough times in Uni
Leeroy Posted April 12, 2003 Share #16 Posted April 12, 2003 Not the Z..no NOT THE Z!!!Oh well...just another project that you'll have to work on when you finish uni! I'm also having the same trouble, though I'm working casual almost 30 hours a week, so my finances are fairly ok...still though...full time uni, work and a 1 hour one way travel to uni five days a week (read, 10 hours to and from school) are pretty much ruling out fuel consuming mods (damn, not cam!!!)...I sympathise, but still...don't!!!BTW...I restored the 240k wheel, and it looks wicked!I think I'll put it on this week!Cheers ppl! SHOTIME Posted April 12, 2003 Share #18 Posted April 12, 2003 Also remember that Republicans held the majority in the house while slick was in office. And before you claim any more liberal BS, we have most of the same equipment we had in the first gulf war under Bush. The military, FBI and CIA under willie was an absolute joke. Lawyers were fighting wars. As stated, 1mil Rwandans were slaughtered, I thought bill was for blacks? All his treaties (palistinian and korean) are broken. These liberal rantings don't bother me because it makes them look even dumber than they are. :stupid: Liberals are trying to find any credit to claim victory now that everything that they were opposed to is over. Pathetic.
Dreco Posted April 12, 2003 Share #19 Posted April 12, 2003 This "marching order" of calling it "Clinton's military" is nothing more than the newest stradegy of the re-writing of the Clinton legacy. That statement isn't even arguable. The best thing about being a liberal is never having to say your wrong. I can't believe how much liberal crap I read on this sight. I thought you all hated the combustion engine, yet your a member of a classic sports car sight. HYPOCRACY!!!. Go to one of those electric car sites or something. By the way, I heard a liberal make a comment about the looting that is taking place. The statement made was "see...they are not ready for freedom" did they apply that same ideoligy to the looting that took place during the L.A. Riots???Drecord1972 240Z gas guzzling 3.0L engine"you have the right to say what you want, I have the right to ridicule you for it"

The more looting that goes on in Iraq the higher the cost will be for rebuilding the country's infrastructure.Lawlessness is Lawlessness no matter where, when or how."Crack Heads, not Crackbabies"
Mike Posted April 14, 2003 Share #21 Posted April 14, 2003 I've always wondered why people would loot, riot, and pillage their own neighborhoods."Hey, I'm pissed off!! I'm going to burn down my own neighborhood!!"It just doesn't make logical sense to me.But, hey, I don't see how we could really control something like that. It sounds easy to say that we can crack heads. But, how exactly would you go about doing that? It's too easy to sit here behind our computers and come up with opinions, but, are they based on real-world facts and know-how? Not really. Bambikiller240 Posted April 14, 2003 Share #22 Posted April 14, 2003 Martial Law. The military enforces (to the best of their ability) the rule of law. You do what you can, you don't just stand around and observe. You don't remove a government and not replace it with some other form of control immediately; unless you want things like this to occur.Even Saddam practiced Command and Control. Stryder Posted April 14, 2003 Share #23 Posted April 14, 2003 Thank you President Clinton Even the liberals agree that Clinton stuck a knife into the stomach of our military. Why do you think we had such a hard time deploying a squad of UH-64's to Kosovo. I'll give you a hint, it was not because of his extensive spending towards the military. I can't believe that you are trying to place some of the credit, for getting rid of Saddam, with Clinton. In 1991 the US had 1,985,555 active duty personal. In 2000, after Clintons cutbacks, we had 1,370,237 adp. Over six hundred thousand people got laid off. Last time I checked laying off 600K people ain't to good for the economy either. TKR514 Posted April 14, 2003 Share #24 Posted April 14, 2003 All presidents inherit what came before them. The difference is what you do with it.Clinton is history, let it go.... or else we need to credit him with the war dead too.
