Just sent him another text and he is waiting on someone. certainly not accusing him of anything, but perhaps it is a little fishy or the car is not as described ... I don't know the California market but I would have thought it would sell on the first day to the first person that looked at it.

2nd time listing the car due to time wasters

1971 Datsun 240z. I purchased the vehicle a couple years ago from the original owner's wife with the thought of restoring it. She was selling the car because her husband had passed a while back and she had no use for it anymore. Her husband bought the car new from a dealership in San Diego. He drove the car for about 13 years and had to park it in storage due to relocation of work. He unfortunately was never able to get the car back on the road, so it sat for 30 or so years. This is an all-original, rust free, numbers matching vehicle with an extremely straight body. The motor does not turn over, but the car rolls just fine. I am selling it because I do not have the resources to get her back on the road and would like it to go to someone who appreciates these cars as much as I do. There are multiple routes you could take with this car. You could get it running and drive it as a "survivor" car, or you could do a full restoration. You can also purchase this as a clean canvas for a racecar build. The car is being sold as is. Please be able and ready with the funds to by the vehicle I don't want to waste my time or yours. No trades. No scams. I will not respond to lowball offers. If you're interested and have the money, call or text me, and come take a look and then decide if you want to make an offer.
