IGNORED

I'm injured & bored

I feel your pain. Took this nail off between a 200# skidsteer wheel and the steel hub when I wasn't expecting that type of weight a month ago. Hit it at work 2 days ago between a clamp and the deck. That will make you say ugly things...

I was quartering some carrots for some stir-fry Wednesday night and almost sliced the tip of my finger off. Only got 3 stitches but my left had is useless but I can type with my right hand so please cut me a little slack. SUPER BORED!

Sometimes, injuries like that are just God's way of saying, "Slow down, pull over.  Sit on the couch, watch TV, and drink a beer.".  Consider it Devine intervention.  :)

Speedy recovery!

Is that Andy Devine? As Jingles..."come on Wild Bill, wait for me." I realize that anyone on this site under the age of about 68 will not have the slightest idea of what I am referring to. If you damage a body part you will whack it again multiple times so you get the message...about sitting on the couch with a cold IPA in hand.

Cheers, Old and In the way, Mike

There is a glove I have that is made of some woven material maybe kevlar that is supposed to protect me when I am slicing food.

I'm gonna do what my Mom said from now own, hold carrots still with a fork down on the cutting board.  And all these years I thought I had great common sense, nope.
